American family tradition is becoming more and more a thing of the past. Actually one could say it is hanging on for dear life in remote areas of today's society. That is why the moral of the story last weekend was to always stick it out no matter what! There is nothing trivial about American family tradition -- even if only a picnic or a fishing trip -- and the more we neglect it the less there is to pass on to the next generation of Americans.
On June 4th, the Inland Empire unit showed up to barbecue in the rain with us at Don Castro Regional Park. Despite the weather we all had a surprisingly enjoyable experience. I hope we all learned the value of perseverance that weekend. It should be clear, all it takes is a little effort and planning and American family traditions such as barbecues can easily survive a cold and rainy weekend.
We discussed current events as well as upcoming events and our unit was able to net a good many supporters and potential recruits. This was our first monthly meeting as an organized Northern California Unit and I believe it was quite a success. Although, it would be nice if the weather were a little warmer next time.

Approximately 2 dozen Party members and supporters attended the Detroit meet & greet in a local park. Veteran National Socialists and new prospects alike, all had a great time. The NSM is known primarily for its street action, but we also sponsor family friendly social events. Some of us attended the N.H.S. concert the previous evening, and had a great time there. The N.H.S. guys always put on excellent shows in the Motor City. A great weekend was had by all in attendance.
