Ranks

Normal entry to the NSM is as a Storm Trooper.

Subject to six months’ satisfactory service a Storm Trooper can then be considered for promotion to the rank of Storm Trooper 1st Class.

Promotions are only made twice a year on April 20th and November 9th.

Some people with particular skills or experience can be considered for entry as Acting Corporal. They will then be required to serve six months at the acting rank and full rank will be assigned at the following April or November.

Unit Leaders: Normally you would have achieved the rank of Corporal before being appointed Unit Leader. This means that you would have served at least 6 months as a Storm Trooper.

State Leaders: We have a few Senior men that hold that esteemed position, but we do not make these appointments unless someone has actively served in the ranks for many years.

Sergeants and higher NCOs: You can normally expect to serve at least two years and to have taken an active role in the NSM before being considered for promotion to Sergeant.

Officers: We have a small number of Commissioned officers all of who have proved themselves over many years service to the NSM.

NSM-SS: We have a small SS detachment who, in addition to their normal role of promoting the policies of the NSM, are also assigned the role of personal security to the Commander. Appointment to the NSM-SS is by invitation only. Whatever your rank in the Storm Troopers IF you are appointed to the NSM-SS you will be bumped to SS-Mann. Promotion within the NSM-SS is very difficult to achieve.

The Commander takes a variety of factors into consideration, including skills and activism, when assigning all ranks.
