Palin: Only flag in my office is Israeli

"I wanted to meet you for many years," Ms. Palin told Israel's President Peres according to an aide to the president. "The only flag at my office is an Israeli flag," she was quoted as saying. [New York Sun, Sept. 26, 2008]

Actually she was lying as this youtube video shows both a United States and an Alaskan state flag as well as the Israeli flag. Palin also constantly wears an Israeli flag pin.


The Republican Jewish Coalition has pointed out that an Israeli flag is a fixture on the drapes in [Palin's] office. "I think it speaks volumes that she keeps an Israeli flag on the wall of her office," the group's executive director, Matt Brooks, explained in an e-mail to Politico.com. "It clearly shows what's in her heart."
