Answer: Persuade the government to give you even more money and a museum to stash it in.
That’s the situation in Canada where the billionaire Asper media family have persuaded the Canadian government to part with at least $100 million to fund a Holocaust Memorial Museum in Winnipeg topped over with $22 million a year to keep the place open.
The Asper family own CanWest Global Communications.
It was easy for them to get the money out of the government because all Canadian News media belongs to a very, very small group of people. And the Asper family are famous, or notorious for insisting that all their news outlets toe the Asper party line.
"You can fit everyone who controls significant Canadian media in my office," Vince Carlin, chair of the School of Journalism at Ryerson University in Toronto, told the Washington Post (1/27/02).
So once Izzy Asper started agitating for his Holocaust Musem he didn’t stop until he got it.
The new museum is actually being called the Canadian Museum for Human Rights but it was conceived as yet another Holocaust Memorial Museum only somebody was rude enough to point out that very few Jews have ever been killed by Canadians hence the change of names.
But it is quite clear what ever it is called it will operate a de facto Canadian Holocaust Museum.

[Canadian Prime Minster] Mr. Harper's government in 2006, along with Russia, was the only government in the world to vote against The UN Declaration On Aboriginal and Indigenous Peoples' Rights after Canada spent 20 years sponsoring and participating in this process. If the Aspers run this Holocaust museum like they do their media empire, undoubtedly the information presented would be tainted and a disservice to history with the taxpayer funding this agitprop and innocent children subjected to this propaganda and we then have to pay for this codswallop.
